Elliott Greenleaf mourns the passing of our friend and mentor Hon. Bruce W. Kauffman. In addition to his public service as both a Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice and United States District Judge on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Judge Kauffman was a litigator, an advocate, a scholar, a problem solver and an inspiration and resource for all those who were fortunate enough to work with him. "He was the consummate gentleman" said Elliott Greenleaf Chairman John P. Elliott "in addition to his intellect and insight, we will deeply miss his sense of humor, his chuckle and his compassion." With profound regret, John M. Elliott, Chairman & CEO of the Elliott Greenleaf, PC law firm with offices in Blue Bell, Harrisburg, Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, PA, and Wilmington, DE announced the passing of its senior shareholder, Stewart J. Greenleaf Sr. on February 9, 2021 after a distinguished career in law, and as a highly respected public servant, who served initially in the State House of Representatives, and then with distinction in the State Senate for 30 years, including as Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
