On February 1, 2021, the Judicial Conduct Board of Pennsylvania (“Board”) unanimously re-elected Thomas J. Elliott, Esquire as its Chair. The bi-partisan twelve-member Board is comprised of: three judges, three lawyers, and six non-lawyers, that reviews, investigates, and, when warranted, prosecutes complaints of alleged judicial misconduct. If the Board finds probable cause to believe that a judge engaged in misconduct, it may file a complaint in the Court of Judicial Discipline that then decides if the Board has met its burden and the appropriate sanction for any proven misconduct.
