Beyond his litigation practice, Colin has been deeply involved in bar leadership and community service. He has held multiple leadership roles within the MBA, including servicing in each officer role over the past four years, on the Board of Directors, as co-chair of the Rules of Civil Court Committee, chair of the Young Lawyers Section and Editor of the Association’s Law Reporter. He is the past Vice President of the Montgomery Bar Foundation and a long-time Fellow of the Foundation. He is also a member of the board of the Montgomery Child Advocacy Project.
Colin has also held multiple leadership roles with the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA), including as a member of the Board of Governors, Chair of the Young Lawyers Division, a member of the House of Delegates, a member of the Civil Litigation Section Council and its representative in the House of Delegates, and a member of a number of ad hoc task forces. In 2022, the PBA Young Lawyers Division awarded Colin the Michael K. Smith Excellence in Service Award.
In accepting the role of President, Colin stated:
“I am honored to serve as President of the Montgomery Bar Association and to support an organization that plays such a pivotal role in strengthening our legal community. I am deeply committed to advancing opportunities for professional development, fostering civility and excellence in the practice of law, and expanding access to justice for all.”
Colin graduated magna cum laude from the University of Scranton and earned his law degree, cum laude, from Villanova University School of Law.
Please join us in congratulating Colin on this well-deserved leadership role and in wishing him continued success as he leads the Montgomery Bar Association in the year ahead.
