Brian Grady and Thomas Helbig represented a logistics and warehousing company and its principal in a breach of contract dispute filed in California, where a warehouse owner claimed it was owed several million dollars under a warehouse lease. On behalf of our clients, we filed counterclaims for breach of contract and tortious interference.
After litigating the claims, we were able to achieve a highly favorable outcome for our clients: plaintiff agreed to dismiss its suit in its entirety with no payment from CCBRM, despite their significant multimillion-dollar exposure at the outset of the case.
