Elliott Greenleaf’s Brian Grady and Thomas Helbig represented a National Real Estate Company and its agent in a third-party complaint filed by another brokerage arising from a terminated residential sale. The brokerage alleged that our client, acting as the buyer’s agent, breached duties owed to the buyer and was responsible for any resulting liability tied to the sellers’ termination of the agreement of sale.
The court granted summary judgment in favor of our client on all claims, finding that it and its agent had no liability for the termination.
