The Trial Lawyers Section of the Montgomery Bar Association has selected Elliott Greenleaf shareholder Mark A. Kearney as its 2014 “Trial Lawyer of the Year”. In selecting him, his colleagues at the Montgomery Bar recognized that Mr. Kearney is an accomplished and experienced trial lawyer focusing on commercial and employment litigation in the federal and state courts, including several multi-million dollar verdicts in Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties and over one hundred equity matters to date. Mr. Kearney is the 2014-2015 President of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute (www.pbi.org) and presently a Presidential nominee to serve as a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Mr. Kearney is the third Elliott Greenleaf shareholder to receive this recognition as “Trial Lawyer of the Year” in the past five years, following the Bar’s prior recognition of Thomas J. Elliott and Marvin L. Wilenzik. The Trial Lawyers Section of the Bar consists of hundreds of trial-seasoned attorneys from both the plaintiff and defense Bars, as well as those representing clients in criminal, white collar, and complex commercial, employment and health care matters.
