Elliott Greenleaf to Host Seminar on Accounting for Lawyers

On Friday, November 13, 2015, Elliott Greenleaf shareholder Kevin S. Anderson will present a one-hour CLE program on accounting for attorneys. Topics covered during the seminar will include (i) the work product that accountants and accounting departments create in the course of their work, (ii) the difference between accrual, cash, tax and hybrid accounting methods, (iii) Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, (iv) the various standard financial statements generated and (v) responding to audit inquiry letters sent as part of a client’s annual audit. Prior to joining Elliott Greenleaf, Mr. Anderson, who chairs the firm’s business and estates departments, served in the Office of General Counsel of a national accounting firm.

Check-in for the program will begin at noon on the 13th with the program beginning promptly at 12:30 p.m. at the Firm’s Blue Bell office located at 925 Harvest Drive, Third Floor, Blue Bell, PA. Lunch will be provided. The fee for attendance by attorneys not associated with the firm is $100. Requests to attend must be received no later than Monday, November 10, 2015.
