Greg’s practice includes a wide range of major matters in the healthcare, employment, and specialty finance fields. His health practice includes disputes between private payers and hospital systems; cases involving fraud, kickbacks, and abuse; antitrust matters; ERISA-based disputes; and matters related to the Medicare ND Medicaid programs. Greg also has broad experience in employment-related litigation and has successfully defeated alleged class actions.
Greg served as a Managing Editor for the Villanova Law Review and clerked for the Hon. William H. Yohn, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He’s the co-chair of the Montgomery Bar Association’s Federal Court Practice Committee, and he coaches youth basketball and baseball.
Representative Matters
- Lead defense counsel in a payment dispute between physician practice groups and a private payer in New York state court. After obtaining a dismissal of the physician practice groups’ case in trial court, Greg then successfully defeated their appeal, winning a full affirmance of the trial court’s decision.
- Counsel for a major national healthcare insurer, successfully enjoining and then overturning a state agency’s selections of certain companies to run the state’s multibillion-dollar Medicaid program.
- Defense and appellate counsel for several Philadelphia-area hospital systems and healthcare executives defeating a putative wage-and-hour class action. After the federal district court dismissed the action at the preliminary stage, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit affirmed the dismissal.
- Counsel, both for claimants and respondents, in numerous significant arbitrations in pharmaceutical and other healthcare-related matters.
