Shanna Walker Williamson is an associate in the Firm's Scranton office. Ms. Williamson's areas of concentration include, but are not limited to, Civil Rights Litigation, Product Liability Defense, Contract Disputes, Personal Injury and Professional Liability litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, she served as a law clerk with the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas in both the Civil and Criminal divisions. During her clerkship, she was assigned to Senior Judge Ricardo C. Jackson and Judge Norman Ackerman in the Complex Litigation Center. Ms. Williamson also clerked for the Judges presiding over Motions Court and Discovery Court in the First Judicial District.
Ms. Williamson is a 1996 Scranton Preparatory School graduate. She acquired her undergraduate degree from Saint Joseph's University in 2000. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Widener University in 2003 and was successful in completing Widener's Intensive Trial Advocacy Program. During her time at Widener, Ms. Williamson interned with the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office in the Narcotics Unit, and was a member of the Widener's Woman's Law Caucus. In 2006, Ms. Williamson earned the Leadership Award from the National Multiple Sclerosis Society for her fundraising efforts.
Ms. Williamson is a member of the Bar of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Lackawanna County Bar Association.
Ms. Williamson resides in Scranton with her husband and son.
