Elliott Greenleaf’s Rafael Zahralddin-Aravena was a speaker and panelist at the National Association of Credit Managers (NACM)/Transportation Revenue Management Group (TRMG) Fall 2013 Conference on October 13-15, 2013. The TRMG is an industry specific credit group sponsored by NACM Houston. Its membership community consists of credit and collection professionals in the freight and transportation service industry. The group holds two conferences annually where members network, hear from experts and service providers, and ask questions to help gain new perspectives on developing custom solutions for transportation professionals. CFOs, Credit Managers, and related credit professionals gathered at the TRMG Fall 2013 Conference for a three-day program featuring continuing education panels with top legal experts, national policymakers and leaders; networking events; and workshops. Mr. Zahralddin discussed the ethics of using bad check laws to collect a civil judgment, locating assets, enforcing the judgment against both real estate and personal property, garnishing bank accounts, obtaining turnover orders for shares of stock and causes of action, fraudulent transfers and bankruptcy issues tailored for the transportation industry.
