Rafael X. Zahralddin-Aravena selected as a member of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s (“LCLD”) Fellows Alumni Executive Council

Elliott Greenleaf, P.C. Director and Shareholder, Rafael X. Zahralddin-Aravena has been selected as a member of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s (“LCLD”) Fellows Alumni Executive Council.  Mr. Zahralddin is the Outreach Committee Co-Chair along with Jenner & Block LLP’s Reena J. Bajowala.

The LCLD is an organization of more than 250 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners-the leadership of the profession-who have dedicated themselves to creating a truly diverse U.S. legal profession. Rafael was a 2015 LCLD Fellow.  Elliott Greenleaf’s Wilmington office, Managing Shareholder, Shelley A. Kinsella is a 2016 LCLD Fellow.

The Outreach Committee is responsible for enabling the Fellows Alumni to have a personal and collective impact on their local communities. The committee’s responsibilities include organizing one yearly community service project at the Fellows Alumni Conference, participating in “adopt-an-organization” type of programs to help Fellows Alumni volunteer throughout the year, providing an online catalog of mentoring programs and opportunities, organizing an annual fundraising event for charity selected by the Fellows Alumni, and promoting an environment in which Fellows Alumni share and exchange with each other their personal stories of community service and impact. The committee’s strategic objectives are to encourage and facilitate the LCLD’s community service initiatives and charitable giving.
