Samantha Hazen is an associate in the Firm’s Scranton office. Prior to joining the firm, Samantha clerked for the Honorable Thomas I. Vanaskie of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
A 2017 cum laude graduate of the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, Ms. Hazen served as the Editor-in-Chief of Pace Law Review. She also participated in Pace’s Federal Judicial Honors Program, where she interned for the Honorable Richard J. Sullivan of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. During law school, Samantha also served as an intern for the Honorable Malachy E. Mannion of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, and the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office. In November 2016, Samantha and her Advanced Appellate Advocacy team participated in the New York City Bar Association’s National Moot Court Competition. Samantha received her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University in 2013, where she graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and the College of Arts and Sciences.
Samantha is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, in the United States District Court for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania and in the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
