Mark W. Bufalino is an associate in the Firm’s Wilkes-Barre office. Mr. Bufalino’s practice includes complex civil and criminal litigation in federal and state courts. Mr. Bufalino represents clients in both the public and private sectors and has extensive civil and criminal litigation experience in state and federal trial and appellate courts, including the defense and prosecution of complex constitutional claims. He defends and prosecutes administrative, trial and appellate actions focusing often on discrimination claims brought pursuant to Section 1983 of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the American Disabilities Act, Title VII, the Rehabilitation Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Act and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act.
In addition, Mr. Bufalino regularly represents corporations and private individuals in complex business and partnership disputes, zoning and land use issues, and employment matters. Mr. Bufalino also serves as litigation counsel to numerous public entities and major health care providers.
Mr. Bufalino is a magna cum laude graduate of Villanova University and the Dickinson School of Law.
Mr. Bufalino is a member of the Bar of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Luzerne County Bar Association.
From 2010-2017, Mr. Bufalino has been recognized for his accomplishments by being selected as a Pennsylvania “Super Lawyer”.
