Elliott Greenleaf shareholder, Mark A. Kearney, has been elected treasurer of the Montgomery Bar Association for 2006. The Montgomery Bar Association has over twenty one hundred (2100) active members, and is the third largest Bar Association in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Kearney will serve as one of five elected officers of the Bar Association. His election continues his service as a leader of the Bench and Bar, including as a Director and Member of the Executive Committee of the Historical Society for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Chairperson of the Welcoming Center for New Pennsylvanians, a fellow of the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation, a member of the TAXIS Circle and former Director of the Montgomery Bar Association.
The firm’s commitment to public service is also further by the election of Thomas J. Elliott as Vice-President of the Trial Lawyers Section of the Montgomery Bar Association; Roger J. Harrington’s election as the Vice-Chair of the Young Lawyer’s Section of the Montgomery Bar Association; Eric P. Wilenzik’s continuing service as a Director of the Montgomery Bar Association; and, Melissa Murphy Weber’s election for a three (3) year term on the Judiciary Committee of the Montgomery Bar Association beginning in 2006.
