Colin D. Dougherty, an associate, is a life long resident of Montgomery County.  He began his legal career as the judicial clerk for the Honorable David W. Heckler, President Judge of the Court of Common Pleas for Bucks County, Pennsylvania. In addition, Mr. Dougherty served as an Assistant District Attorney in Bucks County for two years. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, insurance litigation, employment litigation, and construction law issues.

A graduate of Cornell University's New York State School of Industrial and Labor Relations in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Labor Relations, Mr. Dougherty received a Juris Doctorate in May 2001 from the Villanova University School of Law. He is admitted to the bars of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the District of New Jersey, and the Northern District of Illinois.

In 2008, Mr. Dougherty was recognized as a "Rising Star" by the Pennsylvania SuperLawyers.

Mr. Dougherty is active in the community as a Coach and Executive Board Member for Ambler/Whitpain Trojans Youth Football Association and the Wissahickon Lacrosse Club.
