MELISSA MURPHY WEBER RECEIVES MONTGOMERY COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE'S AWARD FOR WOMEN'S LEADERSHIP EXCELLENCE

The Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce selected Elliott Greenleaf's Melissa Murphy Weber for its 2006 "Women's Leadership Excellence Award" presented at its Annual Awards Dinner on May 17, 2006.

Before joining the Firm, where she focuses her practice in commercial litigation, Ms. Weber served as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 148th Legislative District, compromising Lower Merion, Whitemarsh, Whitpain, Conshohocken and Narberth. She previously served as Assistant District Attorney in Montgomery County from 1996 to 2002, and tried dozens of jury trials before the Court of Common Pleas and District Justices of Montgomery County. She is a recognized leader in the community, and was recently selected as a "Rising Star" of the Pennsylvania Bar, along with five other members of Elliott Greenleaf.
