ELLIOTT GREENLEAF IS SELECTED SPECIAL LITIGATION COUNSEL FOR THE CREDITORS COMMITTEE IN A NATIONAL TRANSPORTATION BANKRUPTCY

Elliott Greenleaf has been selected as Special Litigation and Conflicts Counsel to the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in the Greatwide Logistics Services Inc. ("GWLS") corporate bankruptcy cases pending in the United States Bankruptcy Court in Wilmington, Delaware. Greatwide's operating units, assembled through a series of acquisitions, provide dedicated transportation, in which drivers and equipment are assigned to a customer long-term; distribution logistics; truckload freight brokerage; and truckload freight transportation, largely via independent owner-operators. On January 14, 2009, GLWS announced that it obtained Court approval for the acquisition of Greatwide by an investor group that includes affiliates of Centerbridge Partners and The D. E. Shaw Group. Elliott Greenleaf has been retained to litigate matters related to asset recovery for the unsecured creditors and litigation challenging the liens of secured parties, as necessary, for the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors.

Elliott Greenleaf was selected based principally on the Firm's expertise as experienced corporate bankruptcy and commercial litigation counsel by the Committee. Firm President Henry F. Siedzikowski and managing shareholder of the Firm's Delaware office Rafael Zahralddin are leading the Firm's efforts in this important retention.
