KENNETH L. DORSNEY JOINS FIRM TO FURTHER DEVELOP FIRM'S INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PRACTICE

Kenneth L. Dorsney, a member of the Patent Bar and the Delaware Bar, joined Elliott Greenleaf as of counsel in its Wilmington office. He focuses his practice on federal trial and appellate representations in patent infringement, invalidity and construction claims; Lanham Act litigations; intellectual property; bankruptcy litigation and trade secret/confidential & proprietary disclosure investigations.

He is a graduate of the University of Delaware (B.A. 1994) (M.E. 2002) and University of Pittsburgh School of Law (JD 1998). Upon graduating University of Delaware with his M.E. degree and passing the Patent Bar, Ken obtained federal judicial clerkships in Delaware's patent track with United States Magistrate Judge Mary Pat Thynge and then District Court Judge Kent A. Jordan (now of the Third Circuit). Following two clerkships, he was a patent litigator in the District of Columbia. He also worked as a patent attorney in Wilmington, and has now actively practiced in the bankruptcy court as well. He has published six articles in federal injunction litigation in intellectual property, and served as a lecturer on intellectual property and federal litigation issues since 2005 at Widener Law School and at Georgetown and George Washington law schools.
