Elliott Greenleaf is pleased to announce the opening of its Wilmington, Delaware office, and welcome Rafael X. Zahralddin, William M. Kelleher and Neil R. Lapinski to lead the Firm’s office in Wilmington. The Firm’s Delaware office is located at 1000 West Avenue, Suite 1440, Wilmington, DE 19801, and can be reached by calling (302) 384-9400.

The Wilmington office will focus and expand on the Firm’s national reputation for excellence in commercial, financial, health care, and employment law in the Delaware federal courts, bankruptcy court, Supreme Court, Chancery Court, and Superior Court.

Rafael Zahralddin, the managing shareholder of the Wilmington office, has a substantial commercial and bankruptcy practice, focusing on the rights and obligations of businesses under Delaware Law, and protecting their interests in the United States Bankruptcy Court. Mr. Zahralddin, a former law professor, is an honored commercial litigator and business advisor for businesses and entrepreneurs throughout the United States, Central America and Europe, particularly in the sophisticated bankruptcy matters presented in Delaware.

William Kelleher, a shareholder in the Wilmington office, joins the Firm’s shareholder Mark A. Kearney as another law clerk from the Delaware Court of Chancery, generally recognized as a leading court for business and equity matters for all entities in the United States. Mr. Kelleher is a skilled trial lawyer, former prosecutor, and experienced appellate advocate. His practice focuses on commercial litigations in the Delaware federal and state courts, and he is a leader in the Delaware community.

Neil Lapinski, of counsel in the Wilmington office, brings a unique blend of sophisticated tax counseling and trial skills to the Firm’s commercial and business transactions practices. A trial lawyer for over ten years, he has been lead counsel in several trial and appellate cases which have defined commercial and education law in the mid-Atlantic region. In addition, he has published several articles on complex tax matters, including under Delaware Law.
