Dean R. Phillips Presents Seminars on Key Issues in Pennsylvania Appeals

April 2008 - Elliott Greenleaf senior shareholder Dean R. Phillips continues to provide seminars throughout Pennsylvania to judges and lawyers on Pennsylvania Orphans Court and Appellate Practice. He recently participated in panel presentations to the Mid Annual Conference of the Pennsylvania Conference of State Trial Judges, where he spoke on recent developments on practice and procedure for foreign adoptions. He also joined Superior Court Judge Richard Klein, former Superior Court President Judge Joseph Del Sole and Philadelphia Commerce Court Judge Howland Ambramson in a panel discussion on Pennsylvania Rule of Appellate Procedure 1925(b). Mr. Phillips will also speak on appellate practice and procedure at a Continuing Legal Education program in conjunction with the Pennsylvania’s Superior Court's special court session in the Montgomery County Courthouse on June 24, 2008.  
 
In addition to his continuing teaching efforts to the Bench and Bar, Mr. Phillips has been appointed as a discovery master in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.  .
